More About A SISTER’S POWER

For the five Reeves women, nothing is more important than keeping their family bond tight and their communication flowing. But honesty isn’t so clear cut when it could blow up everything they’ve fought to build . . .

Already reeling from betrayal, middle sister Coco is fed up with lies—including her own. If she has her way, someone else’s neck needs to be on the line for a change. But soon, Coco’s in deep trouble with the law, her future hanging in the balance . . . Now the only thing that can save her is revealing one last devastating truth.

Struggling with unthinkable loss, Coco’s sister, Burgundy, finds comfort in a colleague’s arms. But her
eight-year-old daughter wants no part of him. She wants the life she enjoyed when her father was alive. As Burgundy fights to move on from the shocking tragedy of her marriage, she seeks a silver lining. And against all odds, she wants herself and all her sisters to win. In spite of secrets, lies, deception, and hurt, she will do whatever it takes to support and empower her family. Even if it means risking everything that’s important to her.

Now between revenge, grief, and forgiveness, these siblings will challenge themselves—and all they think they know about each other—in a showdown that may leave them united—or cause them to forever fall apart . . .

Author Cydney Rax Online Video Book Talk by The Tea

By The Rax Files No Comments

Revenge-of-the-MistressOne very unique thing that has happened since the release of REVENGE OF THE MISTRESS is the wonderful experience of having the book being discussed by The Tea. This is a group of four women who select a book to read and then discuss various topics related to the book in front of a studio audience.

I absolutely enjoyed seeing the video production. I think you may enjoy it as well. Here’s the link:

In addition, check out the author interview that was produced by B Creative / Digital Media. If you are an aspiring author, this info may inspire you.

That entire situation was a lot of fun. Let me know what you think.

My Married Boyfriend

As Rax (If Your Wife Only Knew, 2016) continues her Love & Revenge series, she applies karma to these characters in surprising ways as rivals find ways to bond. At times Nicole and Rashad fall into stereotypes, but Rax’s strength is in showing growth, especially among her sympathetic female characters, and this tightly written soap opera rises above others in the genre. Fans of Kimberla Lawson Roby may enjoy this series.
Booklist Reviews

…Rax knows how to create baby momma drama…readers hooked on the first two books will eagerly await the final volume, Revenge of the Mistress, due February 2017.

Love and Revenge Novel Book 1

If Your Wife Only Knew

Secrets, scandal, betrayal and revenge–there are no clean hands in the first book of this saga. Every one of the characters has a false sense of entitlement, and they are so, so wrong. A wild ride, this story is engrossing, and I can’t wait for the sequels.

– Romantic Times Book Reviews

Each turn in the plot makes things painfully worse in this soap-opera drama with plenty of surprises. The ending hints at even darker twists for the next installment in the new Love & Revenge series. Rax brings humor to extreme and painful situations, keeping readers glued to the page.
– Booklist Reviews

…quite a bit of juicy sex, and protagonists who concoct lies, cheat, and are totally selfish. A good fit for soap opera fans.
