On the day that REVENGE OF THE MISTRESS was released, it debuted at the number 12 slot on iTunes top paid books. The next day it rose to #9. Thank you to all that downloaded from #iTunes. I want every reader to #GetYourRevenge and pick up #RevengeOfTheMistress.

Needless to say, I’m very excited now that all three novels in the Love and Revenge series are now available. Fans of my very first series may now read the conclusion to see what happens with Kiara Eason, Rashad Eason, Alexis McNeil, and the notorious side chick Nicole Green.

Additionally, I must say that I was completely shocked when the first novel in the series, IF YOUR WIFE ONLY KNEW, was nominated for an AFRICAN AMERICAN LITERARY AWARDS SHOW award in the erotica category. It did not win but I enjoyed that the book got recognized.

Gearing up for MY MARRIED BOYFRIEND

Hey hey now.

I’m very excited this morning. As you know, IF YOUR WIFE ONLY KNEW brought lots of fanfare, discussion and controversy. Just how I like it. And up next is the second novel in the Love & Revenge Series. It’s titled MY MARRIED BOYFRIEND. Now THAT’S a title for you. And the action continues with Rashad, Kiara, Nicole and Alexis. I so love these characters. They felt very real to me. They made me laugh. They are intriguing. And I hope that you will pick up a copy of book 2, read it, and post about it.

 

Now, here’s the fun part. My e-book of IYWOK is currently on sale everywhere for only $2.99. Great price for a great book. So get your copy and get ready for MMB which drops on 8/30.

Also, a book that I wrote a while ago is now in Target and Wal-Mart, plus at all the other online bookstores. It’s called BROTHERS & WIVES, and it’s the follow-up to MY HUSBAND’S GIRLFRIEND, another one of my popular novels that had a lot of tongues wagging, and got a bunch of women upset.

If Your Wife Only Knew by Cydney Rax

I’m just popping in to say how very excited I am to find out that so many libraries across the U.S. and even in some parts of the world, have included my latest novel IF YOUR WIFE ONLY KNEW as part of their library collection. This is a dream come true. It seems like yesterday I would visit Houston area libraries and would read other books written by African American writers. Folks like E. Lynn Harris, Omar Tyree, Yolanda Joe, Marita Golden, Gloria Naylor, and so many others. They inspired me. And the reference books about writing and the publishing industry taught me.

So thanks to the hundreds of libraries that have purchased the book. And to the readers who are checking out the novel. Make sure and post your comments. You may contact me via my website www.cydneyrax.com or post on any online review site.

Another thing that I’m happy about are all the new readers that are discovering my works. Yes! That is an author’s dream. I can tell I have a brand new audience of folks that are getting to know my storylines and characters. Excellent and encouraging info.
